Summertime Adventures: Huntington Gardens
Summer is the perfect opportunity to explore the treasures of our community. I start off this series with a trip to the Huntington with my friend, Jonathan. Near Pasadena, the Huntington offers a massive library, famous art collections, and beautiful botanical gardens. Jonathan and I visited the 120 acre Huntington Gardens. Ranging from a Japanese garden to an Australian garden, there are diverse plant species to explore. We walked throughout the gardens observing all the landscapes, and when we were in need of a break, we sat at benches that overlooked the Huntington. Here are a few of the pictures that we captured of these views:
In addition, cafes and lawns calling for picnics are available when you might be in need of food and a walking break. If you want to roam around acres of gardens, and maybe even get lost in the beauty of it (luckily there is a map that we could refer to frequently), then I highly recommend paying a visit to the Huntington. Although it was a more expensive adventure, the pricey ticket was worth it. Thank you to Jonathan for the idea to blog summertime adventures and coming with me to the Huntington. As for the readers, I'm excited to tell you more of the adventures to come.
